Chicagoland Garden Center Tour - Monday, August 17
Tour trend-setting independent garden centers in and around Chicago: Gethsemane Garden Center, Knupper Nursery, and Platt Hill Nursery. In addition you’ll visit and have lunch at the famous display gardens at Ball Hort’s headquaters and a special stop with retailing lnnovator, at one country’s largest IKEA stores. Conducted jointly by Garden Centers of America and The Garden Center Group.
Chicago Green Roof Tour - Monday, August 17
Green roofs are the all the rage in urban and suburban environments. They cut energy costs, help green the environment and create new spaces for area residents. And they can also create new profit centers for garden centers. This lecture/tour, presented by the Illinois Green industry Association, will showcase some of the most stunning and successful green roof installations in America. Transportation and box lunch included!

Cancellations and Substitutions
If you must cancel for any reason, notify our registration department, email info@igcshow.com by July 24, for a full refund. No refunds will be given after this date. However, you may transfer your registration to another person at any time. Just notify us by email.
Admission Policy
The Independent Garden Center Show 2009 is held specifically for independent garden center owners and their employees. Independently owned hardware stores with garden center departments, distributors and reps may also attend. Matching photo ID may be required for admission. No one under 14 admitted. To maintain the integrity of the event, big boxes, mass/discount retailers, landscape firms, non-exhibiting manufacturers and growers, and non-industry vendors will be denied entry.
No Solicitation Clause and Photo Rights
By granting you admission to the Independent Garden Center Show you agree you will not use your attendance to solicit any other event participant unless you are a recognized exhibitor within the confines of your own booth. From time to time show management takes promotional photos or video of event-related activities. By granting you admission you are hereby providing permission for us to use your likeness in such photos or video.
