CHICAGO – This year’s Independent Garden Center Show, scheduled to run August 17-19 at downtown Chicago’s stunning waterfront Navy Pier facility, will present more vendors and new products specifically targeted for the garden center market than any other show in the world.  Now in its fourth year, IGC 2010 remains the show of choice for both buyers and sellers alike. Over 600 suppliers spanning four football fields of displays will offer thousands of new and proven products plus store fixtures, management systems and virtually everything else of interest to the IGC community.

Teri Smith, owner of Smith’s Acres garden center in Niantic, CT said, "Now THIS is a show geared to the IGC's. World class speakers, all the products we need, excellent venue. By far, the best show I've been to in YEARS."  Bonnie Landrum, owner Wedel’s Garden Center, Kalamazoo, MI added, "My absolute favorite show of the whole year! Where else can you see the entire industry in one beautiful location? Just awesome!"

Exhibitors were equally forthcoming with their praise. "I attend up to 12 trade shows a year and IGC is the only one that I find myself enthusiastically gushing about to both my dealers and peers in the industry.  For Rome it's an essential part of our show marketing budget," said Michael O’Russa, director of sales and marketing for Rome Industries out of Madison, Wisconsin

The IGC 2010 Conference and Keynote Program – the industry’s largest and most dynamic educational event – will present a world-class lineup of headliners and educators.   Special and networking events galore round out the offerings.  Imagine a day of productive new product sourcing and vendor meetings, an early evening networking and catching AMERICA in a free private concert concert (top-40 hits in the 70s and 80s like "A Horse with No Name", "Sister Golden Hair" (both of which reached #1), "Ventura Highway", "Tin Man", "Muskrat Love," "Sandman," and "Lonely People") and then dinner at a world-class downtown Chicago restaurant.  It’s all part of the IGC Show experience.  And everything in one location!
